EWHAEnglish Western Horse Association **Announcement** Ahhhh! The banquet is done, the show season complete. We had a great time with everyone this year throughout the seaon and it was capped off by a fantastic time at the banquet. We decided to go a little more informal and have a Pizza and Pasta dinner and it seemed to work out well for everyone. Shannon, Kim, Wendy and Jan got everything set up and looking great and the turnout was amazing! We hope that everyone enjoyed the awards this year. Shannon and Jan worked really hard to come up with some fun and new ideas for this year. Look for a Newsletter soon and we should have the show dates and hopefully judges secured, as well. Thanks again to everyone for such a great year! One other announcement to make is that we have a new Board position filled. There were two positions that were opened up, one being Wendy Dippel's. We thank Wendy so much for all the help and hard work that she put in for all of us. Wendy is still going to help out with the points for next year. Since Wendy's spot was opened up and Adam was up for re-election, we put out a ballot with several names on it. After several people were nominated and the votes were tallied, Dana Albertson-Stowell was voted on. We would like to welcome Dana and look forward to having her on to help. For the second position, Adam was re-elected. We will have Board appointments at the next meeting to set the positions. Thanks to everyone that was willing to join and help out! This was the most nominations that we have received in a year and it was nice to see so many show such an interest in joining. We will have new member positions opening up next year, so please let us know if there is any interest in the possibility of joining. A new horse for sale was added to the classifieds! We will be offering vests, sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats, and possibly even jackets for sale. If anyone has any interest, please contact Adam or Shannon to place an order. We are going to have some samples made up to check out. The English Western Horse Association is dedicated to a family-friendly, but competitive atmosphere. Our goal is to have a place to gather with family and friends and enjoy the animals that we love so much, as well as enjoying some friendly competition along the way. A Montana Silversmiths Belt Buckle will be given in the following age divisions; 10 & Under Walk/Trot, 12 & Under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-39 and 40 & Over for Year-End. We have approximately 6 shows per summer and points are accumulated for some great year-end awards. Come join the excitement of a new year and become an EWHA member! Single memberships are $20 and family memberships are only $30. I urge you to take a look at the different pages on the website. We have tried hard to make this as informational as possible, while still easy to get around. I'd also like to direct you to the "Sponsors" page. We have a large array of businesses and services and it may just be a way to find something you are looking for. From Farriers to Excavating to Truck and Trailer Services and much more.
